You'll find many pages here documenting a variety of Schroeder family activities, including travel and our sometimes-bizarre annual Christmas cards. Currently there are only a few trips posted in the travel area including the Philippines.

We were a group of five tourists from Hong Kong. We planned to go to the Philippines by ourselves and finally we arrived at Manila on the 30th March, 1996. We spent ten days in the Philippines. During these ten days, many things, good and bad, happened to us. I would like to share these experiences with anyone who is interested - Ada Cheng's contribution to Robert Gardner's Philippine Journeys.

An adventure travel series by the late Vangie S. Palacios who was a writer/photographer/surfer, among other things, on a mission of documenting on the Net her adventure travels in the Philippines and around the world, hoping that you, too, will be inspired with the places she had the opportunity to visit. This is now a tribute page to Vangie passed away on Friday, 3 May, 2003 on Lake Caliraya, Manila, when she was hit by a speedboat while she was swimming.

A collection of pieces written about some of the trips the author has taken over the past couple of years. The author (not sure if M of F, most probably F) had the privilege to travel with some really great people on the trips, but the one constant companion he/she has is a pudgy, brush-haired, generically named Zebra. Together they go places, do things, meet people, eat good food, and generally have all the fun that their limited funds let them.
