CIS' inception in 1991 was brought about by many years of consultations and consensus-seeking that tried to address the need for ongoing formation and renewal both of Jesuits and lay partners alike, as well as the training of competent and effective givers of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Since that time, the CIS has organized 10-day workshops on St. Ignatius’ Autobiography and the dynamics of the Weeks of the Spiritual Exercises, as well as the main themes of the 34th Jesuit General Congregation - Seminary Rd., Ateneo de Manila University Campus, Loyola Heights, Quezon City and Km. 23, Quirino Highway, Lagro, Quezon City (Retreat House).

Was envisioned to answer the need for spiritual renewal and formation of individuals, couples, families, small groups and organizations - Capt. Mamon Road, Barangay Pansol, Calamba City, Laguna.. The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (also known as Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco) offers MCS to young people as a priviledged place where they spend precious moments of stop-over-with-the-Lord and share life-giving experiences through guided and preached retreat, prayer centered on the Word of God, and other faith-enriching activities.

St. Michael Retreat House, Antipolo City, has been established by the Archdiocese of Manila with the view of forming Christian leaders to be "instruments in proclaiming the Gospel in our time." St. Michael Retreat House Antipolo provides venues and programs that are meant to renew the participants spiritually as well as to ensure their holistic and integral human education.
