The PAP has grown tremendously since its humble beginnings in 1982. From holding a single National Open competition a year, we now hold competitions for various ages, classes, regions, and categories several times a year. From a few competing clubs solely from Metro Manila, we now have member gyms from Northern Luzon all the way to the Southern Philippines. From being a cellar dweller in every event in the Asian championships, we have now won several gold medals, beating superpowers in Asia many previously thought wasn't possible.
