- Philippine Touring Car Championship
The Philippine Touring Car Championship is returning after a hiatus of one year, and it is coming back bigger and stronger. With entries reaching 27 cars the (PTCC) is setting records in the Circuit racing world. The new PTCC will for the first time have a promoter that is not one of the two race tracks in the country. The series is controlled by the Automobile Association of the Philippines. (AAP) and they have given permission to Racefans Inc. to handle the organization and promotions of the Philippine Touring Car Championship. RACEFANS Inc. General Manager Richard Santos is not from the motorsports community and brings some outside perspective into the management and promotion of circuits and races, something has not been the case in the past - Puyat Avenue, Makati City.
