The CCP Bobcats Pegquade joined the first Asian Cheerleading Open in Tokyo in 2007. The Bobcats won the National Cheerleading Championship Philippines in 2007. The squad joined a total of twenty competitions, won eleven championships, five first runners-up, two second runners-ups, one fifth place and one seventh place.

The National Cheerleading Championship (NCC) is the countryǃÙs first and only cheerleading competition which employs international rules and regulations. This event is modeled after the American Cheerleading Competitions, the highest level of competition in the world of cheerleading. It is the only Philippine cheerleading event sanctioned by a US-based cheerleading organization, the Cheerleaders of America (COA).
