Migrante Europe is part of Migrante International √¢Ç«®Çƒ? the international alliance of Filipino migrant organizations. Migrante was founded in the Philippines in 1992 covering Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. At the international consultation attended by delegates of Filipino migrant organizations held December 1994 in Cavite, Philippines, it was expanded to include other global regions like Europe, Canada and the United States. Migrante International represents the patriotic movement of migrant Filipinos - Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Our mission is to organize Filipino workers to collectively address our needs and issues both in the community and in the workplace. PWC was founded in 1997 on the idea that all workers have a right to safe working conditions, living wages, a decent standard of living and quality of life. The long-term goal of the center is to build a large and strong membership in Los Angeles so that Filipino workers have a base of power. This base of empowered workers and community members will then be able to standup for our issues, mobilize as a show of force, enter into multi-racial alliances and provide a people's response to attacks on our livelihood, dignity and respect- Los Angeles, CA.
