- Canada-Philippine Friendship Society
The movement for the Canada Philippine Friendship Reception on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 on Parliament Hill in Ottawa is well underway. The initial idea was conceptualized by many community leaders that were motivated by a series of events that has jointly motivated the Filipino Canadian Community to pursue initiatives to strengthen our collective, national interests in Canada, while supporting our Filipino heritage, relationships and ties that bind us to the Philippines.

- Philippines-DPRK Friendship Society
The Philippines – DPRK Friendship Society was founded on March 31, 2003 in a general assembly of 35 founding members held in Sulo Hotel, Quezon City, Philippines. It traces its beginnings to the deepest desires of many Filipinos to foster mutual understanding and friendship with the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). Since then, the society has undertaken delegation exchanges with its counterpart in Noth Korea.
