(AmCham Foundation) serves as the socio-civic arm of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines in promoting good corporate citizenship among its members. As Domingo M. Guevara embodied the "Filipino Vision" of the man, likewise, he revelled in it. A testament to his social conscience. Thus, he organized the D. M. Guevara Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, in 1972. It started with an educational project by funding a professional chair at Ateneo de Manila University. The foundation started the Museo ng Buhay Pilipino or the Museum of Philippine Life. The museo focuses on the traditional heritage of Christian Filipino, dramatized through artifacts simulating a vintage setting of turn-of -the-century "Ilustrado" living in the lowlands.
