The Swiss Club, Inc of Manila is a non-political, non-profit seeking association of Swiss nationals and friends of Switzerland residing in the Philippines. The Swiss Club was founded in 1907 when some 35 members of the Ermita Club, mainly a rowing association of Swiss expatriates, decided to form their own club and rented some premises along the Pasig-River. Since then, the Swiss Club has survived and considering the limited number of expatriates done very well.

We are just two guys from the USA that have decided that the best decision for us; considering our pasts’ and financial circumstances; would fare far better living our retirement years here in the Philippines, compared to facing the ever rising high costs of everything in the USA. In the near future we will take the time to share, in a general way, what our circumstances were and are today. But one thing is for sure, weighing all the pluses and few minuses of the move here, we know we had made no mistake.
