ANZA is a social non-profit organization focused on enriching the lives of its members while living in Manila. We welcome singles, couples and families into our association. Social members of other nationalities are very welcome.
We hold regular meetings with guest speakers and coffee mornings. We organize social functions such as a progressive dinner, cultural day tours, a Christmas luncheon, an Australia and Waitangi Day picnic and more. Some of our functions are used to fundraise for charities in the Philippines such as the Wine and Cheese Night, the Melbourne Cup Luncheon and the Annual Grand Charity Ball. We also host and recommend weekly clubs and activities including sewing, golf, tennis, mahjong and bridge - Dasmarinas Village, Makati City.

Galen and Dickie Hertweck live and work at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in Baguio City, Philippines, where Galen teaches New Testament and serves as the seminary's Extension Director. In 2003 they are offering courses in ten cities in eight countries of Asia and the Pacific. Galen also serves as Director of the Asia Graduate School of Theology's Doctor of Ministry Program in Myanmar (Burma). During part of the year Galen teaches in Bible schools throughout Asia and the Pacific. Dickie is very involved in the life of the campus at APTS and serves the Assemblies of God Field Fellowship of the Philippines in several capacities as well as serving as the local warden for the U.S. embassy.
