The association was established in 1974 by a group of Filipinos and Americans in the Central Ohio area, who realized the need for preserving the cultural heritage of the local Filipino community. By combining their ideas, talents and efforts thru this association, they were able to serve a larger number of Filipino Americans and their families through socio-cultural activities.

TOPAS was established in 1999 by a group of Filipinos and Americans in the Central Ohio Area. They wanted to preserve the cultural heritage of the local Filipino community. We are a welcoming, fun-oriented group in Central Ohio whose mission is two fold: to engage in charitable activities and to share the Filipino social and culture heritage with the Columbus Ohio community - Columbus, OH.
