The Congress of Visayan Organizations or COVO, is the statewide umbrella of about twenty affiliated Visayan organizations in Hawaii. Founded in 1985, COVO's objectives are: to organize and unify the several Visayan organizations in Hawaii, to perpetuate the Visayan language and cultural traditions, and to assist in the educational, social, and economic advancement of Visayans in the larger Hawaii community.

The Filipino Association of University Women promotes and strengthens Filipino identity in Hawaii through initiatives in culture, the arts, and education. It provies leadership in promoting 1) greater awareness of and appreciation for the Filipino culture and traditional values, and 2) cross-cultural understanding in Hawaii - Kaneohe, HI.

The Reality is Alive in Waipahu! Located in the center of former sugar country in Waipahu in Leeward Oahu, the FilCom Center is a tribute to the visionary spirit of the Filipino American community in Hawaii. Three stories of rental space, offices for social, health care services, entrepreneurial, business incubation, and technology center are housed with the FilCom Center. Intergenerational needs, services for the elderly, youth and family are its main focus - Waipahu, HI.

The principal goals and objectives of the organization are to: * provide scholarship awards to poor but deserving students of Filipino ancestry. * educate the general public and members of the Filipino-American community about the unique Filipino heritage through activities that celebrate and showcase Philippine and Filipino-American culture; and * assist orphans, neglected and abused children in the Philippines through gift-giving, feeding programs, medical missions, etc. - Kailua-Kona, HI.

FAHSOH is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to foster an appreciation of the heritage and experiences of Filipino Americans in Hawaii. We believe that knowledge of the history and culture of all peoples affirms individual dignity and teaches respect and understanding - Honolulu, HI.

One of the many Filipino American Association and Organization based in Hawaii. This web site is created to bridge the Filipino community and also to our friends, co workers, relatives and to everyone seeking for peace love and friendship around the world no matter what race or nationality.

Sariling Gawa started as a grassroots community effort in 1980, commemorating the 75th anniversary of Filipinos in Hawai`i. The stimulus to create this project originated with Filipinos concerned with the overall well being of the Filipino community here in Hawaii. Social service, education, and public health professionals did not create the organization, rather it was a group of college students who reflected, analyzed, and acted on their experiences of being young, immigrant and local-born Filipinos in Hawaii.
