The Soka Gakkai International found way here in the Philippines and took root in the early 1959. It provides a base for faith, practice and study of Nichiren Daishonin's teaching throughout the Philippines. It exists to guide each member's faith in the Gohonzon, thereby enabling each person to attain absolute happiness or Buddhahood - Timog Ave. corner Tomas Morato, Quezon City with centers in Escolta, manila, Tagaytay City, Silang, Cavite, Davao City, Cagayan de Oro City and Lapu-lapu City.
