Conventual Franciscan Friars. The word "FRIAR" means brother and so, we are brother to each other. We try to live and to exemplify brotherhood, humility and simplicity which are part of our charism in the Church. Our Order is a religious community began by St. Francis of Assisi, Italy, in 1209. We are members of the mother branch of the Order and we came to be known as "Friars of the Community." - Paranaque, Novaliches and Tagaytay.

The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM) is an international congregation of religious women responding to mission calls in more than seventy countries and 800 communities around the world. Blessed Mary of the Passion founded the Institute of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary at Ootacamund, India in 1877.
In 1912, a spark of the Spirit's living flame was ignited in the Philippines where there are now more than 21 communities of sisters committing themselves to the service of God's people, especially the poor, through various ministries: counseling, formation, education, healing, indigenous peoples, media, pastoral ministries, retreats and more.
