The Order of the Discalced Augustinians (OAD), existing out of an Augustinian reform movement and formally recognized in 1592, arrived in the Philippines in August 1994 further spreading and intensifying the Augustinian presence, tradition and ideals in the islands. Since then, in a span of ten years, there are already three mission-formation centers the OAD delegation has established.
