Photography
Beyond the Stick is an open category competition for photographers and graphic designers at Amateur, Advanced Amateur and Professional levels.
Participants are asked to submit photos and images that unmask and expose the ǃ?socio economicǃ? dangers of cigarette smoking and the tobacco epidemic. Participants must create convincing and powerful photographic images out of any or all of these truths:
I. Tobacco and poverty is a vicious circle
II. A tobacco-free childhood leads to a smoke-free life
III. Second hand smoke can be worse
IV. Tobacco is an addiction that Kills
V. The world is fighting tobacco. Deadline: March 18, 2008.
