The Chicago Photography Collective is a group of professional photographers that have come together to build a sense of community among photographers. It started out as a group of four people having lunch once a month, and now has more than twenty members. The group has opened a gallery sponsored by PopUp Galleries, an initiative started by the Chicago Loop Alliance to use art to draw people to the downtown area of Chicago.
