Launched on June 12, 2006, Pinoy Era is the slick online publication (webzine) produced by the Global Filipino. It is the webzine for and by the migrant Filipino community. While its main editorial office is located in Australia, it links up with those who have roots in the Philippines and friends of other nationalities from all over the globe in order to provide a comprehensive view of the world. While its perspective is global, it also specifically looks at the experiences of Filipino migrants and those who have identity roots in the Philippines, as a reflection of the mass exodus from that country - the so-called Filipino Diaspora, in particular. Pinoy Era moreover offers news and analysis on the social, economic, political and cultural life in the Philippines.
