Three founding members maxi, nil and bivs. Maxi and nil were in a crust/metal/hardcore outfit named CBE which played riffs and shouted in a way, too early for their time. Bivs on the other hand was in a straight forward punk, vulgar ridden lyrics punk band named Anal Scream which eventually progressed into playing ska-punk.

The band has a Filipino song entitled, Majica (ma-hi-ka) meaning magic. So, they aptly made it their band's name since the first was too long, When Cinderella Kissed the Seven Dwarfs.
