Manila-born blues harmonica player and vocalist Carlos Zialcita has been part of the Bay Area blues scene for three decades as a performer, promoter, educator, and former radio announcer. Zialcita's career began in the early 70's as a founding member of the Chico David Blues Band, a popular bay area band that backed artists like T-Bone Walker, Charles Brown, and Big Mama Thornton. Since those early days Zialcita has been on numerous musical journeys with many of the blues and R&B legends he has long respected and admired. He has also led his own bands, beginning with the Eldorado Blues Band, then the California Cadillacs, the Carlos Zialcita Band, and now the Carlos Zialcita Jazztet.

Filipino-American pianist Jovanni-Rey V. de Pedro was born into a family whose musical history dates back more than one hundred years. Jovanni received his first piano lesson at the age of three with his father. As a child, he participated in various musical shows and competitions, taking top prizes - Vienna, Austria.

Pianist Kit Samson is the leader and driving force behind Hawaii's favorite dance band, Kit Samson's Sound Advice, which has been entertaining locals and visitors in the Islands for three decades. Manila-born Kit came to Honolulu in 1971 as an entrepeneur, opening a family restaurant and night club at the old Biltmore Hotel in Waikiki. When the Biltmore was torn down to make way for today's Hyatt Hotel,he was offered a 3-month contract as a pianist, band leader and musical director at the famed Kahala Hilton. The engagement lasted 23 years.
