Organized primarily for the benefit of Filipino/Japanese descendants thru the efforts of the late President Marietta Rodriguez Yamauchi Yoshida, Japanese lawyers/friends and other Nikkei-Jin (term of Fil-Jap descendants of pre-war & post war period) the recognition of these Nikkei-Jins was made possible. Thus being recognized by the Japanese Government, these descendants now are allowed entry to Japan and enjoy the same rights and privileges as the Japanese themselves.
