The National Telecommunications Commission Regional Office No. 2 (NTC R2) is a project of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) under its Development and Improvement of Nationwide Radio Monitoring Facilities Program. It was formally inaugurated on November 28, 1988. The NTC R2 has been assigned the responsibility for certain NTC licensing, monitoring and enforcement functions. The office maintains ongoing liaison amongst the regional offices; represent the Commission in meetings and maintain rapport with the people of the region - Carig, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
