A biographical website of the late senator Arturo M. Tolentino (1910-2004) who as young activist was imprisoned in Fort Santiago during the Japanese time, was first elected as a Congressman in 1949 and last served as a Senator in 1996. He was an active participant in Filipino politics from the time of Quezon through Marcos and Aquino. The last great statesman of his era.
