    The Camiguin Coastal Resource Management Project will address the complex issue of sustainable management of coastal resources and provision of sustainable economic activities in Camiguin Province. Camiguin, being one of the poorest provinces in the Philippines, is threatened by the worsening social, economic, and environmental conditions. This will be exacerbated if threats to coastal resources are not minimized and removed in the near future. The impetus for the Project is predicated on the urgent need to utilize natural resources in a sustainable manner and to hasten social and economic equity in the process. Implemented by the PLGU and MLGUs of Camiguin and funded by the New Zealand Agency for International Development.
