Cavite City Library and Museum was created to serve as a repository of historical and cultural information and artifacts in the form of books, photographs, memorabilia and relics that chronicle the city's history and growth. CCLM serves as a learning and information center for residents of Cavite City and its neighboring towns. People come to the library to read and/or see the exhibits in the museum. A link is provided for the Diccionario Chabacano project which was recently published Asociacion Chabacano del Ciudad de Cavite.

- Jose B. Vargas Museum and Filipiniana Research Center
Jorge B. Vargas (1890-1980) was the country's first Executive Secretary, having served this position during the Commonwealth period. On March 1, 1978, Mr. Jorge B. Vargas bequeathed his collection of art, stamps and coins, his library, personal papers and memorabilia to his Alma Mater, the University of the Philippines. A center for Philippine art and culture, the museum's main thrusts are research, exhibition and education - University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.

The Southwestern University Museum houses the rare collectionof Dr. Lydia Aznar-Alfonso. Spanning 30 years, this remarkable collection was kept in her basement making sure that Cebu could have a legacy of a rich cultural heritage of iron-age potteries excavated in Cebu and its neighboring islands, to rare celadons and a magnificent blue and white collection, in particular a Yuan bowl, one of the three early blue and white extra large bowl found in the Philippines.
