To help promote Dipolog√·∆Ì√Ùs tourism and economic industry as well as its cultural heritage the city government of Dipolog in coordination with the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Dipolog (HRAD), the annual search for √·∆Ì√ˆMutya sa Dipolog√·∆Ì√Ù 2002 (Miss Dipolog 2002) was launched. The local beauty search traces its genesis in the mid-1960√·∆Ì√Ùs, later has gained respect and support of the different organizations, individual and business community.
