PSGSA is a student arm to the Philippine Study Group, a community network of scholars, students, and Filipino-American community members whose purpose is to provide venues and opportunities for research and intellectual interchange related to the Philippines. More specifically, the PSG seeks to invigorate the study of Philippine culture, history, and language at the University of Michigan. The long-term goal of PSG is to establish a Center for Philippine Studies in the University of Michigan, thereby providing greater means for research and intellectual interchange among scholars and students - Canton, MI.
