- Haribon University of Santo Tomas
During the premiere showing of the film "Gorillas in the Mist" sponsored by the Haribon Foundation in April 1989, a group of Engineering students from UST volunteered to assist in the selling of souvenir programs. Realising that they can help Haribon further in achieving its mission to promote environmental awareness as well as assist Haribon in any way they can by providing a pool of volunteers, they decided to form a chapter in the University.
