Over the years, CLSU has been known as an agriculture-oriented institution. Today, it has transformed into a comprehensive university offering various undergraduate and graduate courses. It has been designated as the Zonal University for Luzon as one of the more known institution of higher learning in the Philippines - Munoz, Nueva Ecija.

The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology has become the symbol of higher learning toward the advancement of vocational and technological education in Central Luzon. Its transformation into a specialized university in science and technology has developed this institution as an educational leader in science and technology in Region III - with campuses in Cabanatuan City, Palayan City, Gabaldon, San Isidro, Aliaga, and Fort Magasaysay and an office in Hong Kong.
