HAIPN is a pioneer in Practical Nursing education in the Philippines. Founded in 2002, HAIPN offers a one-year Practical Nursing course and then assists its students with placement in hospitals and other health care facilities overseas particularly in North America. HAIPN seeks to address the demand for nursing education given the increasing need for nurses abroad, with a curriculum patterned after Northern American Practical Nursing program specifically to ensure that is students are equipped to pass the necessary exams for placement in health care facilities in the United States - Malate, Manila and Baguio City.

Saint Louis University is regarded as one of the Philippines' respected and leading educational institutions that has grown with the demands of the current and future environments for its students and faculty alike. SLU is the largest university north of Manila with about 28,000 university students in its campus located in the heart of the Baguio City.

This is the University of Baguio, UB for short, which serves at present as the home of more than 18 thousand students in the different levels of education: primary, secondary, tertiary and graduate level. It is located in the very heart of Baguio City.

Baguio Colleges, as the University of the Cordilleras was earlier known, pioneered in tertiary education in the mountain highlands of the Cordillera region amidst devastation in and around Baguio City after the Second World War. We believe in the ideals of Rizal, that the education of the people is the foundation of a progressive nation. With the formers of the constitution, we believe that the right and duty in the rearing of the youth towards civic efficiency and the development of moral character rest naturally and primarily on their parents who, in the fulfillment of such right and duty shall receive the aid and support of the state - Baguio City.

The U.P. College Baguio intends to develop into an autonomous regional constituent university of the UP system. The vision of UP Northern Luzon is now closer to reality after UPCB was granted autonomy in 1999.
