It began in 1931 on the feast of St Anthony, June 13, with 13 children. The pictoral journey which begins on the following pages dates to the mid-sixties with the opening of a new home and the caring of 160 girls until the closing of the orphanage in the late 70's. St. Anthony's Home for Girls may be closed but the love and ways of caring have never been forgotten.

We are a group of concerned Alumni, who are bound together and in unison with each other to initiate the first reunion in the afore-mentioned institution (Tubod Central Elementary School - Tubod, Surigao del Norte-Philippines-8406). It is a common fact, that since its inception in 1947, we have never had any reunion, hence this was agreed into. Irrespective of who you are in the community, we are asking your kind heart to please join us in the festivities and we thought that it is high time for us now to give back some of our graces bestowed on us by our patron Sts. Peter & Paul to the community where we come from.
