This blog based in Sacramento, CA written by Cheryl Joy Martinez-Avaricio, is one of the first blogs that made people aware of the devastation of Aklan and particularly Kalibo, under the wrath of Typhoon Frank (Fengshen). Her post was one, if not THE, most widely circulated post(s) that went around the world so many times over to inform Aklanons of the plight of their beloved province. Without her post, many Aklanons around the world would not have been aware of the situation in Aklan.
