Philippine travel and adventure. We basically created this site: to serve as a referential guide to visitors and residents of the Philippines; to provide relevant online information on Philippine culture, arts, history, cuisine, people and best places to visit; and to unite people in a forum where they can interact and share interests on various matters regarding the Philippines. We have extended our efforts: to provide useful guidelines on how to move around safely and even to settle appropriately in the country. Welcome to the Philippines!

Sixteen months around the world (or until money runs out, whichever comes first). A travel blog by Filipino American Erik Trinidad who did an around the world travel (backpack) including a spending a substantial amount of time in the Philippines. I discovered this site at the end of the trip (culminating in a big bash in New York, March 5, 2005), too bad, because his day-to-day journal/blog is such a compelling read. Makes you want to do your own round the world travel to ... or like me ... vicariously travel with him.

The Heritage Conservation Advocates (HCA) campaigns for the preservation and promotion of historical and archaeological sites in Cagayan de Oro and vicinities.
Huluga is an archaeological site, the ancestral home of the people of Cagayan de Oro. Fossils and artifacts are still found here. But despite protests by the Heritage Conservation Advocates (HCA), mayor Vicente Y. Emano bulldozed the area to give way to a P635-million road-and-bridge project. The construction is illegal: It has no Archaeological Impact Assessment.

The site was meant as a repository of my passion in different fields; from poetry to music and art. Until my other hobbies got in like games, animations, books and comics. Its purpose is also to showcase my portfolio for employment purposes and getting those freelance projects. Currently it has evolved into a more personal site, a medium in which to share my current passion in travel and photography as well as the literary and visual arts. And maybe just to keep a bit of my sanity amidst this mundane world. From Ferdinand Decena.
