Being an immigrant visual artist, my art serves as a metaphor and allegorical symbol for the immigrants hopes, dreams, struggles and victories in a new country.
I revitalize immigrant figures through highly individualized procedures of selection, separation and isolation, simplification, combination and finally, presentation in a unique stylistic manner. I merge abstract elements of design with figures to achieve expressionistic ends.
I call my art: Figurative Expressionism.
