The Sinag-tala Filipino Theater and Performing Arts Association (SFTPAA) is a Sacramento-based charitable organization. Its mission is to train community members in, and promote the theater and performing arts through, the study, interpretation and staging of the works of Filipino musical, dance, literary and cultural artists - Arliss Way, Sacramento, CA.

A semi-professional theater group originally based at the Manila Metropolitan Theater. Its am is to introduce the theater experience to students, both as performers and as audience. At present they have more than a hundred active and inactive members, most of which are students and working professionals.

Before television, the internet or books there was puppetry. Southeast Asia has been a home for this humble art for thousands of years. Teatrong Mulat Ng Pilipinas (Philippine theater of the Awakening) has been a cultural ambassadorship for the Philippines since 1977. Mulat re-orients the Filipino soul to its roots and orients the rest of the world to the cultural identity of the Philippines.

The Writersbloc, Inc. aspires to develop writers who will be instrumental in defining new perspectives in contemporary Philippine Drama. Composed of both emerging and established Filipino playwrights, the Bloc gathers every other Sunday to read and critically assess new works for the stage. Most of the plays born in Bloc sessions eventually find their way into the playbills of professional or amateur theatre companies and the citation lists of national and international award giving bodies.
