Ateneo mom Samantha Sotto is a first time novelist who wrote this novel in a Starbuck's in Katipunan while waiting for her son to come out of school. When she finished her novel, she looked around for an agent, got picked up by someone in New York who sold the novel to a major publisher. Seems so easy :-). And now, she is almost finished with her 2nd novel. Phenomenal! Too bad the website doesn't say anything about her being Filipino. Why do they always dilute?
