- No to Semirara Dumpsite
How we saved Semirara Island. Semirara was planned to be Metro Manila Development Authority's (MMDA) dumpsite for Manila's 2,000 tons of daily garbage. Armed by the logistical support of three Pandananon organizations in the U.S. and reinforced by equally dedicated allied groups of Antique?¨ħos in Antique and Boracay, the people of Pandan opposed the plan, waged and won the war.
