- Municipality of Las Nieves
In April 1877, Father Urios reported to the Jesuit Superior to Manila his successful founding of five villages along the Agusan River, the villages were Las Nieves, Remedios, Esperanza, to Guadalope and San Luis.
It was Las Nieves that he founded first and it became a municipality years later in 1963.

Where else can you be? The Municipality of Tubay is one of the identified growth areas in Caraga Region. It is the hub of TAPCEN (Tubay Agricultural Processing Center), a 237 hectares lot in the municipality declared as an economic zone by then President Fidel V. Ramos.

Remedios T. Romualdez is the youngest town in the province of Agusan del Norte.The new town was formerly barangays Agay, Basilisa, Balangbalang, Humilog, Panaytayon, San Antonio and Tagbongabong, all previously a part of the Municipality of Cabadbaran and the primary supplies of agricultural products, notably rice. They were appropriately named the rice granary of Cabadbaran.
