Situated at the central part of Ticao, an island about 14.5 kilometers across the Masbate Pass to the city of Masbate, is the prosperous and beautiful municipality of San Jacinto. It is bounded on the north by the municipality of Monreal whose town center is 17 kilometers to San Jacinto, and on the southeast by San Fernando, with a distance of 13 kilometers. On the west, it faces the Masbate Pass and on the east the Ticao Pass about 18.5 kilometers across which is the municipality of Bulan, Sorsogon, one of the outlets of San Jacinto's produce.
